Data Storage

All workout data — routines, sessions, sets, and exercise logs — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

Nothing is transmitted to, or stored on, any external server controlled by us or any third party. Your data never leaves your iPhone.

Gymmetric uses Apple's SwiftData framework — data is persisted in a local SQLite-backed store, inaccessible to any external process.

No Account Required

Gymmetric does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in with any service — including Apple ID, Google, or Facebook.

You can use every feature of the app completely anonymously from the moment you download it.

No registration, no email, no identity — just your workouts.

Network Usage

The app may fetch exercise demonstration images and GIFs from the internet. These network requests are made solely to display visual content in the app.

These requests do not include any personal data, workout history, device identifiers, or any information that could be used to identify you.

Network requests are limited to loading exercise media — nothing personal is ever included.

In-App Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment processing is managed directly by Apple.

Gymmetric never sees, receives, or stores your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. We only receive confirmation of a successful purchase from Apple.

Payment data is handled exclusively by Apple. We never touch it.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

Gymmetric uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, both provided by Google. These tools help us understand how the app is being used and identify crashes so we can fix them quickly.

Firebase Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage events — such as which screens are visited and which features are used. This data does not include your workout content, personal details, or anything that identifies you as an individual.

Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports when the app unexpectedly closes. Reports include device type, OS version, and a stack trace of the crash — no workout data or personal information is included.

No data collected by Firebase is used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared with data brokers.

Firebase data is anonymous and used solely to improve app stability and experience — never for ads or profiling.

You can learn more about how Google handles this data at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored exclusively on your device, deleting the Gymmetric app automatically and permanently removes all associated data from your iPhone.

There is nothing stored on our servers to request deletion of, because we have no servers holding your data.

Deleting the app is all it takes. Complete, instant, permanent.
